Audio input
An extensive documentation system can store sound input,
like cardiac and fluid sounds. For audio input you will also need the following
hardware: |
Sound card
The sound card consists of an analog-digital converter to record the
analogous audio input digitally, and a digital-analog converter to play
back recorded sounds. |
Microphone
You can use a standard microphone, but depending on your specific medical
application, it is recommended that special equipment be used to get optimal
recordings. |
Speakers
It is up to the user which kind of speakers to use. I recommend screens
with integrated speakers. |
As soon as these requirements are met, your documentation
system only has to handle your data. |
