Audio input
An extensive documentation system can store sound input, like cardiac and fluid sounds. For audio input you will also need the following hardware:
Haken.jpg (1314 Byte) Sound card
The sound card consists of an analog-digital converter to record the analogous audio input digitally, and a digital-analog converter to play back recorded sounds.
Haken.jpg (1314 Byte) Microphone
You can use a standard microphone, but depending on your specific medical application, it is recommended that special equipment be used to get optimal recordings.
Haken.jpg (1314 Byte) Speakers
It is up to the user which kind of speakers to use. I recommend screens with integrated speakers.
As soon as these requirements are met, your documentation system only has to handle your data.
We will be happy to help set up a system that meets your needs. Just contact us.
